Select Support is a family-led business, which offers support to many individuals and families in Sheffield. As a worker working for Select Support is a very rewarding job, as you will make a big difference to each individual lives, as they do yours.
Select Support offers trained support workers and personal assistants to support families and individuals in their own home or residential setting, and actively promote the rights of and seek out opportunities for individuals who have learning difficulties, physical disabilities, mental health needs, autism and the elderly; we also understand out duty of care to the people we are supporting. Ultimately our aim is to give support to enable people to help themselves and to lead rewarding lives.
We work alongside and in partnership with other organisations e.g. Social Care, NHS and Education. This could involve supporting individual(s) to access training organisations, AA counselling meetings, Rehabilitations centres for drug and alcohol miss-use, also social activities i.e. to meet with friends, families, so the individuals are involved and included in the wider community.
