Each individual we support may have one or two Support Workers. We try to match support workers to individuals, who may have similar interests, although we do try to make this happen, we always provide them with a support worker who best fits their support needs. We believe by doing this it provides the best outcome on the individuals and can teach people different communication skills other than having the same support worker every day; also by doing this it means our Support workers can provide something different for the individuals to do on a daily basis, this could involve helping them to clean their own living space, go shopping or attending activities.
